Hi,

selecting an ies with the render pass panel opened crashes Maya, tested on two pc.

So back to 25511 but stuck with another pb, Soft box material renders well on local but does not with network rendering.

Actually I'm not able to reproduce the crash here with a very simple setup:

Can you send me your file?

Would it be possible to provide more information about the Softbox issue you have found?
Are you rendering via render manager or with DR ?

The crash with the IES light should be fixed in the nightly builds from Feb 20 and later (revision 25582 and later).

in fact I can't since with went back to nighly from 01/31, but it was crashing with every scenes with ies and render layer open, even with a new one with just one ies, but I can see that is a solved problem. I'll try on tomorow.

And I'll try to send a scene for the soft box issue, in fact very simple a rect light with a soft box material has no pb on local and buccket with different density on DR.

yes the ies and the layer editor, I just downloaded the last nighlty and this problem is gone away no more crash.



For the soft bow I gave a try with this fresh nyghtly
First pict is in local, second one with DR on two pc (The DR map fade on it)

We did some tests here too, and it turns out that there is a bug in DR when using a softBox connected to a light. It's already logged into our system, so we'll let you know when this is fixed.
