VRay or Deadline error

Hi

We are rendering few scenes and after few frames in Deadline we will have error before render was canceled 'V-Ray error: There was a fatal error updating the scene at time ...'.

In scene we have one big alembic file (6GB) and files are stored on our server and send to render farm (10 nodes).

Does anyone come across similar error and how to solve it?

If is network problem (all nodes try to copy file in the same time) can we increase Vray waiting time for the file?

Are you using the "Transfer missing assets" feature? Do you use asset cache and what is the limit?

Than you for quick reply. I'm not sure how we can activate that option "Transfer missing assets" on render nodes, it looks like it is only used when you are using distributed rendering. We are sending files through deadline to renderfarm (each node will have 5 frames to render).

I'm not sure if we are missing something. It looks like if VRay 'get' the file in time render will go fine if is any delay problem (slower network) defaults to error....
