  • OSX 10.10.4 beta causes VRLService to crash on start?

    Hi All,

On my laptop I am part of the OSX beta, and I just got the latest 10.10.4 the other day and I also just got my vray license.

Basically I can't start the VRL service, it just crashes. I am not 100% sure it's because of the osx beta update, but im just guessing it is, since osx is often less stable in beta compared to windows.

Either way, I can't use vray currently, and I don't want to wipe and reinstall OSX before im sure that, this is actually whats wrong.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

The crash is most probably caused by older/incompatible WIBU-KEY driver version.
Please make sure to download and install the latest WIBU-KEY driver version compatible with Yosemite:
    http://www.wibu.com/downloads-user-s.../download.html

After the installation, plug in the dongle then start V-Ray license server from:
In Finder navigate to /Applications/ChaosGroup/VRLService/snow_leopard_x86/bin and double-click on vrlservice.app to start V-Ray license server.
