Hi,
I have a rather urgent problem, i'm working on an animation that i need to start rendering this week. I've decided to use a online farm which run on windows and or linux.
my own setup is OSX 10.9.5. both me and the farm are running Maya 2015 SP6 and VRay 3.0 the official build on the website released oct 20 - 2014.
Now when i render a still on my own machine, both with or without distributed rendering it renders without any problems at all.
As soon as i send the frame/scene to the renderfarm it sends back pictures with black dots or pixels in various places. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've tried clamping both in max ray intensity and color mapping. Adjusting the shader highlights and changeing bitdepth in the final image, but nothing helps.
The VRay GI setup is BF/LC i use a dome light and a rect light for key light. Everything in the scene besides the geo is rather simple.
Only the beauty layer is affected. If i have a zdepth, multimatte, ao or something that isn't affected by the black dots/pixels
Embree is on as well.
I've attached some examples
