    Hi,

I have encountered a problem rendering my scene in progressive mode. My scene was all working fine with render times around 4 mins , then i must have done something ... because i render it & vray goes through the light cache calculations as normal but on the actual render jumps almost instantly to 99% where it renders for a minute or so but when it finishes the quality is really bad.

    I'm rendering progressive , my min/max at 1/20 , noise threshold 0.007, max render-time set at 00.00, ray bundle at 128. I'm using GI BF/LC
I tried an older scene & it renders as expected, so I've exported all my cameras and lights back into that & all is fine... but I'd like to know what would cause this , is it a bug or something I had done ? I had briefly switched back to Adaptive to compare render times & then back to progressive at which point I encountered the issue ?

    Many Thanks
    Chris

If you look at the V-Ray log, what does it say?

it says the maximum sampling level has been reached.. but i had it on the same before & it refines to a much higher quality.

Then it would be best if you strip the scene and post some part here or send to support@chaosgroup.com so that our support guys can check it out.

        Best regards,
