  • deep comp layer in one go

is there a way to render two deep exr layer in one go..?
for example i like to have the foreground tree in a seperat deep layer... but also the data behind the tree...

at the moment i have to render two layer and merge the data in nuke...
is there a way to tell vray it should render the stuff also behind a object..?

No, there's no way to do that. I actually tried it, but Nuke wasn't able to read the data properly - it stopped as soon as the alpha became 1.0; all the remaining points after that came out black. The other thing is that V-Ray will not be able to do AA for the occluded object (unless you use fixed sampling).

    Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
