The sampling of a Shadow element can be changed?

I want to remove the dark area of the Shadow element of an attachment scene.
Does a way only have increasing The Adaptive sampler Max subdivs?
RGB path is enough at Max subdivs=4.
increase in Max subdivs increases rendering time, I do not want to do it.

Hi,

I think it's not possible to put more samples in the shadow element only without any massive oversampling for many parts of the render. If you do it in one render pass.
However, you can switch to Progressive image sampler and leave the Noise threshold to Zero. Then the entire image (rgb and render elements) will be sampled until all the pixels reach that quality.
