I have an open ended cylindrical object where I need the back-faces to be invisible. In the online manual for V-Ray for Maya 3.0 there's a paragraph about a feature and check-box called "Force back face culling". This shown in the manual as being located under the VRay>Global options - Advanced rolldown in the Render Settings, however my version of software doesn't have the option.
Is there a way to force backface culling? I'm using the 2-Sided Material with full-transparency for the inner faces for now, but I'm still seeing an alpha channel in the renders.
I'm using Maya 2015 SP6 and V-ray for Maya 3.00.01
Thanks,
