I've been running into an issue lately using the Render Mask feature; Vray lights are affecting the render mask (either positively or negatively) even when the "invisible" attribute is checked on.
I've tried this both with set based and object ID based render masks and I get the same behavior. I've turned "primary visibility" off in Maya attributes (for the transform, the shape appears to be off by default), as well as in added Vray Object properties (not sure if those even work with Vray lights, but I tried anyway).
Using Vray 3.00.01 in Maya 2015.
Anyone know any work arounds or anything I'm doing wrong here? Anyone know if this is more of a feature or a bug (if a feature, maybe we can have a workaround or a checkbox to not include "invisible" vray lights in the render mask)?
Thanks!
