  • xgen = renderer that can't be cancelled?

    Anyone else come across this, once xgen is in a scene V-Ray cannot cancel in the GUI. Even with time limit and progressive renderer.

    Yes we know about the Esc issue, but still don't know what exactly is causing it. This strange progress is weird too. Is it happening only with xgen present?

      Thanks Ivaylo.

      I think strangely enough this "progress" was a once off. It someone kept on rendering after the progressive render finished (which was set to a 30 second time limit). I have not seen it happen again.

        The strange "progress" seems to only happen when VRayScatter is present. It just seems that the timer is ignored and it just renders out until the quality is reached.
