I was doing a quick test of a post translation python script, using a checker texturemap in the diffuse slot of a vraymaterial, and noticed that disabling maps using the "doMaps" flag wasn't working as expected. Double checking this using the "vray render parameters - global options - advanced - maps" toggle also does not disable the checker procedural. As far as I can remember, this is not the same behaviour that you would get in 3dsmax which would disable all texturemaps/procedurals... am I misremembering or is this a bug?
