Just a heads-up for a possible bug.
We had a problem getting the render mask working (image mask).
Making a duplicate of our camera and using that instead appeared to fix the issue.
I don't have time to investigate further, but I thought it might be useful to post the issue so if someone else is having it, they could try making a new copy of their camera.
I initially thought it might be a VRay version issue (similar to what we sometimes had in 3dsmax where we needed to update the vray object definitions when versioning up...), but I realise this probably isn't the case as in Maya there is no specific VRayCamera object, just a standard camera...
It may just have been user-error of course!
