    Hi!

    I'm doing what vlado explained here:

    And it's working great for 3d noise etc, but I can't get it to work with the projection node. I want to add some textures with triplanar projection to some geometry simulated in Houdini.

    Is this supposed to work with the projection node?

    You mean that the geometry does not have ready UVW coordinates that you can use and you just want to generate them on the fly?

      I was a bit to fast in my explanation

      I'm bakimg the points position to the color attribute on the first frame in houdini. Then I want to use that as rest position for texturing in vray.

      It works great with 3d noise for example when I supply the name of the rest position attribute in the vray extra attribute in the 3d placement node.

      But i would like to peoject textures instead with the projection node, but then it ignores the rest position attribute.

      Hope this makes sense!
