Mac OSX + VRay 3.10.01+ Maya 2013, VRayProperties node is not loaded.

The VRayProperties node of an attaching scene is not loaded in Maya 2013, 2014 for Mac OSX+VRay 3.10.01. [Maybe Maya 2012 same]



Maya2015+ no problem.
This problem is produced only in Mac OSX.　(Tested Windows Maya 2013+VRay 3.10.01 is fine)

Thank you for the feedback and the scene. We reproduced the issue and made a note about it in our bug tracking system.

This is a Maya error that generally shows if V-Ray is not loaded and Maya can't recognize the V-Ray nodes. Will check this though.

My customer is waiting eagerly for this fix.

Didn't find anything suspicious there yet, however it's clear that this happend because of a change in our code. This doesn't imply a bug in V-Ray though, we don't handle directly loading/saving and there is nothing in this code that is OS specific. Will try to gather more info.

I am confirming whether it happens also in .ma to a customer.
