I can get these to render. Does anyone know and can tell me what to do please? They look very straight forward but I'm missing a trick somewhere.

    Kind regards

    Keith

I've emailed you the scene. It's very basic, purely to test.

Hey Vlado, was there any movement on this? I still can't get it to work.

Is there a chance to attach the scene to the forum so other people could also have a look at it and help?

There you go, like I said it's really simple.

If you set your particles to be in the positive set only and you set them to be spheres instead of blobby surface it should render.

                Best regards,

That's literally all I have done but to no avail. The particles render fine but when I make the Metaball1 node visible? nothing.

Really appreciate that thankyou. But alas, it still doesn't render! I'm not even getting an error message. Could it be something to do with the build of VRay? I'm running 3.01 still.

Hm, ok will check this. I don't remember such bug in 3.0, but anything is possible.

In V-Ray 3.0, the Metaball system seems to require a visible particle system, so you must remove the "skip rendering flag I put on the nParticle1 node.
