    It has not supported yet by Nightlies?

    It's just not updated in the help. It's supported also in the Maya version. The nightlies support custom names for the channels. In 3.1 you must name them in a particular way as described in the table.

      name "color" is vector? [ex: color.x/color.y/color.z]

        It should be a single vector channel named "color". If it's 3 scalar channels called "color.x"/"color.y"... it will not work.
