V-Ray warning: ~PolyMeshParameterGetter this should not happen

I'm getting this error in all of my maya/v-ray scenes at the moment. I've noticed it on multiple scenes/workstations. It's not stopping me from working but I have noticed significant slow downs at times.

Has anyone else encountered this? can you guys tell me what it means?

Running Maya 2016 with stable build of vray 3.1

I can confirm that I receive this message all the time as well running Maya 2016/Vray 3.1. Not sure what the solution is.
