  • Yeti velocity pass issues - Fatal error

    Hi,

    We're having some issues trying to render scenes with yeti fur in v-ray. It looks like whenever we load yeti caches and have the velocity pass enabled we get a fatal error:

    // Error: line 1: Exception [module=1] : Rendering region

    (512,256)-(576,320) //

    // Error: There was a fatal error rendering the scene. //

    If I turn the velocity pass off the scene renders without any errors. Motion blur will render too, just not the pass.

    Vray 3.1 and Yeti 2.0.17

    Has anyone had similar issues?

    This was fixed right after the 3.1 release. The nightly builds should have the fix.

        Do you have V-Ray 3.x at all? I'm not sure how easy it would be to back-port the fix to V-Ray 2.x

        Best regards,

            Is support down? I can't get through by e-mail, skype or anything. We need access to the 3.1 nightly builds.

              Have you tried writing to support@chaosgroup.com? If yes, what kind of problem you encounter?

                Support is not down, have you sent us email or something?
                Have you got already access to the build or not?

                  I am still waiting for access.. Got a reply back yesterday: Your request has been escalated for approval before the support team can provide you with the necessary access.

                    If you send me a ticket number I could check why the access is still not provided.

                            Hi,

                            Now I keep getting this error in a few scenes (not on every frame):
                            0: STDOUT: [2016/Jan/21|09:01:43] error: Unhandled exception: Rendering region (704,160)-(736,192); last marker is at line 1932, file "./src/globillummap.cpp": GlobalIllumMap::buildLightMap() {5}

                              Can you give us a scene to look at?
