  • VRay texture baking functionality missing from Maya

I'm working at a studio that uses Maya 2015 and VRay 3.2. I just asked their systems man and he says the install is a default install, no special interface preferences. I cannot find any of the menus related to texture baking. Under "lighting/shading", there are no menu items for VRay baking. There are also no options to assign VRay bake parameters to a selected object. I do not even see a Vray shelf on their configuration.

The only information related to baking is in the render settings, where I do see the baking engine settings section.

Is there a particular module that needs to be installed in the plugin manager? I have used VRay baking before, but in this case the menus seem to be missing from Maya altogether.

    Thank you for any suggestions.

Update: you can delete this thread. I found out there is a custom pipeline environment being loaded in Maya, which is removing the menu items by mistake. Vray is working normally otherwise.
