    Mustn't be too much fun being a developer with Maya - Autodesk seemed to have changed VP2 api again!

    I'm sure most chaos devs aware but thought I should compile a list of things that I find this early on in this release;

    1) There is problem selecting mesh that have vray mtls on instanced objects (they are un-selectable). GPU instancing has to be on in VP2 settings for this to be replicated.
    2) vraymtls don't display either colour or texture anymore.

    By default, 2016.5 uses a new OpenGL mode called Core Profile - compatibility, which we don't fully support yet. Until we get to a point where we do, you could use the Legacy OpenGL Profile. Set it from the Maya settings/preferences > Display > Viewport 2.0 > Rendering engine. Then restart Maya and it should be good to go.
