  • Reflections Flickering

    Hello all!
My reflections are flickering a lot on the floor, and i cant seem to figure out why.
here is a frame sequence where the camera is locked (just looking around)
Notice how the reflections on the floor are all over the place

The reflection on the floor are coming from a domelight outside and some area lights inside
    Thanks in advance

What is the material on the floor?

    Best regards,

      Hi Vlado
Standard GGX material with the reflection glossiness slot mapped to a regular tif texture

worth saying that in another shot, the camera is walking around the environment and the reflections are super stable.
Apparently its just when the camera is locked and looking around that they flicker.

      Cheers

So is it just the reflection element that flickers, or the beauty too? Have you tried lowering the cutoff value for the material?

        Best regrds,
        Vlado

it manifests in both, the beauty and the reflection element.
Ill give the cutoff a go in an hour, and let you know
          Thank you

i put it back on the farm, with camera motion blur, and the problem was gone...
who knows, maybe an one time glitch..
