  • RGB colors in VFB viewport. Why?

I'm getting noisy RGB colors in the render view (like identifying out of range colors) when color mapping is set to "Don't affect colors, only adaptation". If I use color mapping "colormapping only, no gamma" I don't get the noise in the RGB , but it still shows in render elements. It renders in batch correctly though. Is that an option to show clipping in the VFB that I can turn off?

I'm using sun and sky and a physical camera to expose it down using fstops. The render elements also show this noisy image. The AO for instance shows white edges and the interior is black/white speckled. The beauty passes show red/blue around the highlights.

Does anyone know what this is?

    Thanks!
    Sean

Can you share a screenshot of this? It might help to pinpoint the cause. Is this the render view only that shows odd results? Can you get us an example of what's in the VFB and what's in the output files.
Also what is the output format that you're saving your images to?
