  • Linux Error in 3.4 and Maya 2015

    Hello!

    We're getting an error when rendering with the new 3.40.01 stable on Linux and Maya 2015 Extension 1 + SP6.
    This is working fine on Windows, and the 3.40.01 build is also working fine in Maya 2015, on both Windows and Linux.
    So we're only getting this on 2015 and our Linux machines.

    Any ideas on what to do? Or is this a bug on your side?

    Code:
    >>> [2016/Jun/7|18:48:57] V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 3.40.01, revision 26806 from Jun  4 2016, 02:27:42
    >>> [2016/Jun/7|18:48:57] V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 3.25.01
    >>> Initializing V-Ray for Maya
    >>>
    >>> [2016/Jun/7|18:48:57] V-Ray: Loading plugins from "//192.168.0.226/pipeline/bin/vray/builds/160604_vray_v3.40.01-b26806-stable-maya2015_linux64/maya_vray/vrayplugins/libvray_*.so"
    >>> [2016/Jun/7|18:48:57] V-Ray: 73 plugin(s) loaded successfully
    >>> [2016/Jun/7|18:48:57] V-Ray: Finished loading plugins.
    >>> Error: Can't open display:
    >>> // Maya exited with status 1
    Process ended, return code: 1
    Thanks in advance,

    Is this in batch mode or in GUI mode?

    Best regards,

      Batch mode. Most of our render farm are Linux blades.

        3.40.02 should fix this problem. Please test and report if this is not the case.
