volume grids not rendering on 3.3

I cant get a Volume Grid to render on render farm. I have tried for hours to not luck.
It renders fine locally.

I have rendered literally a zillion frames on this farm, so yes my network paths are correct, all my textures are perfectly working.
everything works except the volumegrid.

any idea why?

Do you get any errors in the render log? Also, do you specify the caches as absolute paths?
