  • GI control while GPU rendering

    Hi all

I don't seem to have much control over Global Illumination while I'm rendering with CUDA.

When I'm using brute force, the depth slider doesn't seem to have any effect.

There is no subdivision slider or ambient occlusion options

And, when I switch GI off altogether, it's still on.

    Is this expected.

Ah right, I think I see, the GI for GPU rendering is governed by the IPR panel. I think.
(bit confusing to still have the GI panel active isn't it?)

It is. We have it there because of the legacy from the times when RT GPU could not be used as production render (and didn't even had LC as an option).
We have to think of something better ...
