    Hi,

What is the state of the "Affect background" option ?
Such render difference may occur with the progressive image sampler when it is turned off.

      It's set to off.

It works when set to on (both renders are the same), but I thought it may be a bug if there is a difference between the two methods of rendering.

        Thanks for the quick answer.
The Progressive sampler always work as Affect background ON and render the background with color corrections or exposure applied.
There should be a warning about that in the log:
// Warning: V-Ray : Cannot disable "affect background" color mapping option for progressive sampling.
