Maya 2016.5 SP1 + VRay = Marking Menus Broken

Has there been any movement on a fix for this? We're still getting it, and it basically means that we simply can't use VRay in conjunction with 2016.5. Which is a big problem, as we have to use 2016.5 for other reasons.



If we don't install VRay, it doesn't occur.

Autodesk has promised a fix for this, but I don't know when it is coming out - I will try to get you more information. But basically they confirmed that this is a bug in Maya.

Hi Vlado,

For what it's worth, Autodesk have come back with the following response:

"This should be fixed in 2017_Update1 and also 2016_Ext2_SP2."

Just installing Ext2 SP2 now - will give it a go

yeah the 2017 update has fixed the issue for me.
