Particles on GPU in production or IPR mode?

Hi!
For me the GPU production renderer and also the IPR renderer doesn't render my cached particles. Shouldn't this work by now?

It looks like right now it only works if you load the particles from an Alembic file through V-Ray proxy. We should be able to implement direct rendering too.
