strange result rendering nCloth flag...

hi, I get this strange result rendering a nCloth flag.
Looks like wrong normal angle interpretation!?
I tried without ref - the same.
What could be wrong???

Would it be possible to post the scene? It can be several things and I'm not sure which one it is.

Its not uncommon to see this. You can simply set the normal angle to be 180 on the cloth geo, but typically you would subdivide the post cloth sim geo to get smooth result.
