    is it known that vray lights dont react if you hide them via the "Show" menue in the viewport...?

    What Maya and V-Ray versions are you using?
    By "react" do you mean that when you hide them, they don't hide?

        That actually seems to be somewhat expected. The V-Ray lights in Maya are "locators", you can use the Locators option in the "show" menu to hide them.

            Unfortunately, we can't do much at the moment. You can try this in the outliner - show > objects > lights - this will filter all lights. You can then group them and use the group to hide/unhide all lights (they are at least treated as lights in the outliner).
            Would that work?
