V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 3.52.02 from Apr 24 2017, 21:47:14
V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 3.52.02
Maya 2017 update 3
So I'm sure some people have ran into this issue, but no matter what I search, I have not found any thread regarding.
Using Maya 2017 U3 Render Setup system to create render layers with overrides (collections).
On certain attributes, such as camera scale or the "enable" check box on a light, if I right-mouse click on it to "Create Absolute or Relative Override for the Visible Layer," Maya creates an AOVs collection in my currently visible render layer and assigns the attribute that I'm trying to override to it.
This automatically generated AOVs collection is problematic because doesn't have anything to do with what I'm trying to override because it's not a render element thing and worst, it cannot be deleted from the render layer.
This does not happen when the render is set to Arnold or Maya software for example. Also, this behavior doesn't happen with Vray for Maya 3.4
Is this a known bug?
For camera scale, as an example, I know that I can manually create the collection in my render layer, add the camera to it and drag the camera scale attribute to the override "box" zone. This works fine, but can be very tedious if you have a lot of attributes that you want to override. I want to be able to just right-mouse click on an attribute and choose "Create Absolute or Relative Override for the Visible Layer," without Maya creating this AOVs collection. This is the way it works with Arnold and previous version of Vray for Maya.
Thank you in advance for you help.
