  • "busy" DR nodes to "0.0.0.0" IP address

Hello. We are using Vray 3.3 with Maya 2016 (SP6). DR nodes are Windows 7, the machines initiating the renders are MacOS 10.11.6
Often during a render, some of the nodes drop out, and the DRCheck tool lists them as "busy", but with "0.0.0.0" as the IP address they are connected to, instead of the IP of the appropriate Mac.
When this happens, we cannot start another render with these nodes till we reboot Windows. Any ideas on how to prevent this? Is 3.4 or 3.5 improved reliability in DR?
I should also mention that we are doing VERY large, single frames.

Can you please upgrade to the latest version of V-Ray 3.6 for Maya on both the MacOS workstations and the Windows render nodes. Additionally please try rendering with the "Use cached assets" option turned on and off ( https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ngs-Parameters ). If that does not resolve the issue please send us the vraysl_log_20207.txt file located in the "C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\Temp" from the nodes that are dropping out to support@chaosgroup.com in order to troubleshoot the issue further.
