Vray IPR not working

Hi,

3ds Max user here and new to Maya. the issue i am having is that i can't get Vray IPR to work in Maya although the production renderer is working normally.

I'm getting a message that the render host is not responding. can anyone point out the problem here?

I'm using Maya 2016 and Vray 3.4

Does the same thing happen with latest version 3.52.03?
Also, is V-Ray Render Slave registered as a windows service? If yes, try to unregister it and see if there is any improvement.
