  • VrayAlsurface sss noise spot

    Hi, im testing the VrayAlshader sss,(left ball) there is noise, and when its animated the noise is swirling around especially dark areas (other material works good). i try to bump up the samples sss, seems no effect, for render setting i used bucket mode with treshold 0.010, local subdiv off.
    any workaround to solve this?

    closer look at sss noise, all passes good except the sss pass

      What are your maximum AA subdivs?

        min shading rate 64, min max 1-64, treshold 0.010, adaptive amount 0.85, adapt min samples 16. aa filter gaussian 2, local subdiv off, i tried also with no GI, animated noise pattern off, still the "sand" look still visible
