MultiSubTex on one object

I am trying to color an object in this style

the MultiSubTex Material works great for different objects, but can it also spread randomly on the faces of one object

I don't think it'll work in just the way you want it to. I'll talk to the devs to see if this can be somehow improved, though.
Btw, the script that's linked there says it supports up to 2014, but my guess is that it will work just fine with 2018. If it's free, you can try it, I don't have an account with that site to try it myself.
