im not able to trurn off the env fog with the new rendersetup in maya...
Looking at the scene, I think everything works as intended in Maya.
When you have a collection that includes everything (filter = all, include = wildcard *), all nodes are in this layer (everything in the scene).
In case the override was added to the collection directly, then applying a, for lack of better term, generic absolute override with attribute=Enabled, means that everything in this collection that has an attribute with this name will be affected (without the nodes that don't have such an attribute).
I might be wrong, of course.
But if I open up the scene, delete the current collection and override, then make a new collection that includes everything but the envFog, and another one containing only the fog - then I can override only the fog. I don't know what the intended override for the torus and visibility layer1 are supposed to be, but they can be adjusted as needed. Does something like that work for you?
Simply deleting the override, then adding a new one, but by making the render layer visible, then selecting the fog and creating an override from its "Enabled" attribute works just fine too.
