I couldn't find anything in the documents to mention that it doesn't work. I'm trying to render some VDB clouds in an environment fog so I need the Volumetric Geometry mode to make them work correctly apparently. I am now trying to match the original look of the clouds and it appears that the External scatter parameter has no effect in this mode. I tried setting the transparency levels to the max on 100000 and it makes no difference. Sliding the External scatter does nothing.
