  • V-ray Clipper bug, visibility animation

    Hi,

We're working on a project where we use multiple geometries with individual clippers. These geometries are animated (visibility keys) so when one switches off, another switches on.
This works fine as a single frame viewport render, but as soon as we submit to deadline, run mayabatch or run a viewport (animation) render, the clipper renders incorrectly.
I looks like v-ray keeps the mesh from previous frame in memory and messes up every consecutive frame after this.
    I'vre attached a scene file.

Vray for maya 2018, version 3.6.004

    Thanks!

Hi, we can't give any time frame at this moment, sorry. It's on the to-do list of things to fix.

I'm also on a project where I need to use clippers and am experiencing the same kind of issues, for em it's in conjunction with Phoenix. Just throwing it in here in the hopes that the issue will get a higher priority
