  • Problem with VrayEdgesTex

    Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue with the VrayEdgesTex that I hope someone can help me with.

I'm trying to render a wireframe turntable of a model I've made. I'm using a VrayEdgesTex plugged into the diffuse color of a Vraymtl. The wireframe looks fine when I use a vrayDisplacement with opensubdiv, but when I try to render the low-res wireframe (with no vrayDisplacement applied) I get some really thick lines in some areas (see attached picture). Is there any way to fix this or do I have to stick with the subdivided wireframe?

    Thank you!

Is there a chance that there are multiple edge loops really close to each other in that particular area?

That's what I'm thinking too, control edges would be nicely distributed after subdividing, but would be bunched up in the low poly.

Ah, you guys are right. I feel stupid for not checking that. Thanks!
