  • long exposure time for light trails -> bad buckets

    Hi,

using VRay for Maya 3.60.04 with Maya 2018.2 under Windows 10, we have the problem that when we render with physical camera and long exposure time + Motionblur, some buckets just do not show the light trails.

Render with BF/BF and CPU/Bucket mode.

We do not use DR for the image.

    Any idea?

    Thanks,
    Lars

    Hi Seq,

You need to increase min subdivs to something like 2 or 3.

      Hi Dmitry,

thanks for the help. Increasing the geometry samples also seems to fix the problem. But I guess it is more expensive to render.
