Would it be possible to add the utility materials 'VRayMtlRenderStats' & 'VRayMtlWrapper' to the list of existing Shading Group Attributes?
I can think of a couple of workflow advantages of having this an an alternative workflow to using the Utility Materials as part of the shading network.
