Now that the SDK is out with BF 2.5. Hopefully, Chaos can support the graph without going into USD procedural all the time. It would be great to have nodes in the graph.
I'm not 100% sure the SDK will help - it's an "Operator" SDK, i.e. a node SDK - it allows creating bifrost nodes, but I'm not sure it handles translating to other renderers.
In any case, we'll give it a look, I just didn't want to give you higher hopes than what's realistic.
At the same time, with Bifrost 2.4.0.0 and V-Ray 5.20.02 you can already turn anything from the bifrost graph to a mesh, add it to a usd stage and render it with V-Ray. It works for everything except particles and fluids, but we're looking into those.
