  • Header Data and custom render elements

    Hi!
Would it be possible to write camera information into the header of the output file like PRMan does? With attributes like translate, rotate and fov or maybe the transformation matrix. This is really powerfull information to have in comp.

I also wonder if you can output custom global render elements?
Like a node you connect for example a occlusion shader to and it puts it in its own layer in the EXR for example.
First of all i would like to be able to output passes like worldPoint, cameraSpaceNormal. I guess that is information you get by default by the renderer.

    Thanks in advance
    /Fredrik

You can use the extraTex pass to create any output you may need.

The other thing would be nice to have, but one thing... Isnt it easier to export the maya cam to the compositing software?
