  • Exclude workstation from DR ?

    I would love to be able to render on all the slaves but exclude the computer Im working on. Is it possible to add a feature to exclude main computer from rendering?

    Hm, not right now, but I'll make a note for it.

      Would be nice to have that....

        wouldn't it be the easiest way to just include 127.0.0.1 inside the DR hosts by default and if one does not want it to render, you just disable it like any other client in the list?

          Yes, I like this idea too. My current work-around is edit the task manager and set affinity in the process tab, leaving only 1 cpu active on my main rig. Adding that plus an on/off check list next to the available machines so we dont have to juggle the machine names in the DR list would be a welcome addition.

            Hi, I would appreciate this addition too. I wish quite often to exclude my working station. The simpliest way would be like "ultrasonic" has suggested.

              Actually this is pretty much done now; we just need to test it a bit more. However, some notes:

              *) You don't have to fiddle with the Task Manager and process affinity; you can just set the client machine to use 1 rendering thread;
              *) Double-clicking the name of a machine in the DR list will toggle the enable/disable flag.

              Best regards,
