  • Please, batch scene renders with vraystandalone

    Hi,

it´s something that would be great and it´s so "simple" to program. I know you can use project manager o third party programs.

But in the time we live is not necessary to spend more money for something so easy.

The thing would be to have a folder with you different vrscenes. Then run vraystandalone, and the program has only to do an array of the files with vrscene extension of this path.

Then start rendering the first vrscene and when it has finish this scene, start the next vrscene and so on.

Come on, it´s something very easy, and we won´t have to wait the whole night to swicht manually each scene or to spend more money with another application.

I know vray 2.0 is coming soon, this would be a great feature, simple, but very good for small studios.

    Thanks.

Hm, it is trivial to code a Windows batch file or a Linux/OS X shell script to do that.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Hi, thanks Vlado, i know it´s trivial but it doesn´t mean that the whole people who use vray can program it.
Thanks Tinuz, too, but i was thinking in something shorter without all these steps and automatic, so you don´t have to create a batch file each time.

I´m on ti, just finshing of testing a small program where you say where the input folder of vrscene are (and the program search for for the scenes), and an output folder for the images.
You can add whatever flag you want to the whole vrscenes, too.

        Best Regards
