  • UVSet chooser wihout connection to a shape ?

    Hi,
    It is possible to have a shading node where we can choose what UVSet we want to choose but wihout to have a connection with a shape (like default uvchooser do) ?

    When we do lookDev, and export shading network, obviously, we lost the connection.
    And for the management, it will be usefull to have all information in a shading network independently of the geometry.

    I'm not exactly sure how this would be specified on the Maya side; we can probably add a custom V-Ray attribute to 2D placement nodes to specify the name of the UV set... would this work?

      Oh yes, a custom attribute on a 2D placement will be great (and simple).
