  • Curve rendering Vray SET

Is it possible to have this in future builds, just like displacement VOP, and regular VOP. So we can group curves and place them under the same attribute node?

Yes, I guess so... will make a note for it.

    Best regards,

I personally think any V-Ray attribute should be classified in some sort of V-Ray set.

Hm, not sure about that, but we will be reworking them though the new Extension Attributes in Maya 2012 - this should make it easier to set attributes on multiple objects at once (although not quite in the same way as sets).

Aww.. The V-Ray sets are genius though.

Yep, they turned out quite useful

I think sets are the best way to go....see all implementations of PRman or 3delight...they all rely on sets....makes live really easy...you can even use vray sets if you need to render additional stuff with 3delight
