    Hi would it be possible to have a material selector without any setup?

    Maybe like VRayWireColor for 3DS?

    I understand there are already passes like Render ID, but an equivalent VRayWireColor based on Materials would be great as Photoshop can't do Render ID and it is all based on selection.

    Advantages of VRayWireColor would be automatic setup and flexibility.

    From what I gather VRayWireColor works by Max's viewport colours, but the Maya version could work based on either the same (or via to what material it is connected to).
