  • Add Reflections contribution attributes for VrayLight

Currenctly VrayLight has Diffuse/Specular Contribution to control each other.
But Specular Contribution is effected Specular and Reflections.
I want to control Specular Contribution and Reflections Contribution separately.

Is it possible to make Specular Contribution and Reflections Contribution separated like Affect Diffuse/Specular/Reflections.

At Siggraph I overheard vlado, talking to a guy, who's girlfriend overheard from the dev team (you know who you are), promise more calculations included in VRayLightSelect render element. Sources excluded.

ps. Until then you can create these passes yourself manually by turning off "Hidden lights" and rendering with just the lights on for the pass, do this for each pass of lights you want individual control. You can comp these together using ADD, be sure you include VRayRefraction, VRaySelfIllumination as well.

        Thank you for replay.

That is, it is possible to indivisual control in using VrayLightSelect, isn't it?
To be sure, this is very useful.

However, this differs from the purpose.

I don't want to use Specular pass for composite Beauty pass.
It is that Specular Pass isn't physical correct.
But I want to use specular pass for grading just incase.
Moreover I get these with one renderging.(Of course it is possible to twice rendering, but it costs rendering time.)

I thought that it is to weak specular contribution[ 0.1 etc] with Reflection contribution 1.0.
It is realizable to get Specular pass and composite beauty pass like extract specular.[slightly remain specular at reflect/refraction]

But currently Vray Lights Specular Contribution Control reflection/refraction intensity too.
I want to control like Specular Contribution is 0.1 and Reflect/Refract Contribution is 1.0.

Leave Highlight Glossiness at 1.0 for no specular.

The only thing you get from VrayLightSelect is Direct light contribution. If you want to control the GI bounce from a VRayLightSelect pass in compositing, you'll have to render out each of those separately like I suggested previously. If it isn't a crazy colored light and strangely GI lit scene (extreme color bleeds etc), you can definitely get away with just controlling the VrayLightSelect and manually keying the GI pass (if you turn off the LightSelect element or something). Is this helpful?

              No,this differs from the purpose.

I want only specular pass together with Beauty pass without specular element.

I am sorry for my poor English.
