  • "Texture input gamma" attribute + RT?

Is there any chance of having RT recognize this attribute on a texture file? I often add the attribute to HDRI files that I have plugged into my dome lights, in order to be able to control the gamma of them (more contrasty shadows etc). However, RT doesn't show the results of this attribute, which makes testing lighting a lot more annoying as I have to use the regular Vray renderer.

Will make a note to look into it, but in the meantime you can simply pipe your HDR images through a ColorCorrection texture and control the gamma from there.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Ah, thanks Vlad. That will work nicely!

I've looked at this again, what exactly do you mean by ColorCorrection texture? Do you mean a Gamma Correct node? That gives me slightly different results to the Vray attribute
